A4 sent an official complaint to the Commonwealth Ombudsman about senior government officials in the disability sector failing to acknowledge communication (and ignoring meeting requests).

A4 is the only national disability representative organisation committed to systemic advocacy for autistic Australians (where "autistic" means people with diagnosed autism spectrum disorder). Government, and especially the NDIS/NDIA, has ignored input from this representative group since the NDIS started. It is time that government heard the voices of autistic people, especially those with severe and/or profound autistic impairment.
