Thank you for your reply. I am (we are) quite aware of the scheme you provided a link for.

1. this is not part of the NDIS (which is what you were quoted as saying), it is quite separate,
2. this is a well established scheme so it is not a "new scheme" and
3. is already under severe stress from under funding ... there is no funding being added to this scheme to compensate for cutting of funding in NSW.

I saw the recent article that quotes you as saying "the community should 'focus on making the new scheme work including the advocacy processes within NDIS [National Disability Insurance Scheme]'."

The NDIS website says "The NDIA does not directly provide advocacy services for people with a disability for representation and legal review of a decision" (see https://www.ndis.gov.au/participants/making-decisions-about-support/ndap). There is no "new scheme" for disability advocacy.

People's concerns about the NSW Government cutting funding for disability advocacy are well founded. And your approach is very disappointing, possibly uninformed.
