I'm new here but I can't help noticing the site doesn't get that many visitors.  Perhaps everyone is using Facebook or Reddit or whatever but it would be nice to get more users and more discussion.  

I have a 10yo son whom I suspect has Asperger's Syndrome. I have read and re-read articles and testimonies regarding other children with the disorder and he presents with so many of the 'typical' symptoms that I can't see how he could NOT have the condition. I have taken him to doctors and psychiatrists and social workers and they all say he's simply a typically healthy and rambunctious boy. I disagree. I have another appointment with the psychiatrist next month but I am at my wits end with him.

My 9 year old son was recently suspended from school for two days over two one off racial comments that were said with no violence, malice or aggression. Most of his friends are Indigeneous and he has been accepted as one of them, being taught their language and how they speak to one another. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in the school setting. He used a word which to the average non-indigeneous person without knowledge would seem offensive, though in their language just means "silly".

I am currently a graduate student at Fresno Pacific University in Fresno CA. I am looking for message boards or other venues to post my request for survey completion to. I have been on several autism parent sites; however I would like to get responses from the general population as well. If you have any ideas, or can assist me in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Included is a short description of my study.

In my view, this website should be for the discussion of matters relating to A4's Vision and Mission.

Should we encourage people to discuss subjects not related to A4's Vision and Mission on this website, or on other websites? Should we indicate other websites that might be appropriate ... if so, which other forums can we refer people to?
