The federal government is conducting an inquiry into its Thriving Kids thingy. It's committee called for submissions.

Unsurprisingly, A4 made a submission on time - see email below dated 3/10/2025 (which was the due date).

A4 inquired as to why submissions from recognised Disability Representative Organisations (DRO) that specifically represent autistic Australians such as A4 had not been published. The chair of the committee responded - see below (11/11/2025).

However, as I write this the Committee has still not published A4's submission on its submissions page. A4's submission has not been recognised ... and the Committee is keeping A4's input secret. 

Therefore, A4 is publishing its submission here (we are supposed to wait until the Committee publishes it but that may never happen).

It is unacceptable that the government is expecting to remove 70% of young autistic participants from the NDIS and just ignores input from a key autism DRO. 

Once again there is nothing about us; again, their process is completely without us.
