Like many others, they are unable to get the NDIS to provide a Plan that meets their children's support needs. They tried getting advocacy support from Synapse, who are meant to help, but the "help" the family received resulted in indefinite delays in the plan review process. Young autistic children need immediate access to evidence-based early intervention. The NDIS refuses to fund evidence-based early intervention for ASD for these children. They are trying to get the AAT to review their NDIS plans but they need advocacy support. A meeting (teleconference) with the AAT is scheduled for tomorrow (18/4/2019) ... but the family will need ongoing advocacy support. Can you indicate who will help them through this process?
