Hello there, I am looking to speak with students in the Albury-Wodonga region who would be in their final year of secondary education and looking to transition to employment. I am coordinating a pilot whereby a group of students from the region with ASD are actively engaged in paid employment whilst completing their final year of school.

To be eligible, students must:

(NSW); in their final year of school; receive funding via the Department of Education and Communities "Integration Funding Support Program" or attend a Disability Special School. Also eligible are those students who receive support under the "Learning & Support Program", but they must be in receipt of the Disability Support Pension.

(VIC); Students must be in their final year of school and receive support via Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development's "Program for Students with Disabilities" program, or, attends a Disability Special School.

This will be a fantastic pilot for transitioning students with ASD and features a dynamic social development component woven into the employment piece.

The program is due to commence mid-year 2013.
