My name is Catherine and I am the Casting Director for The Assembly TV documentary series on ABC.  We were in contact for S1 and I wanted to let you know that we have started casting for the second series. We are offering autistic people with an interest in journalism the opportunity to take part and I was hoping you could help me share the news.

If you haven't already seen it, The Assembly is an Australian groundbreaking series, hosted by Leigh Sales featuring a group of autistic journalism students. Under the mentorship of Leigh Sales these students prepared for and conducted interviews with high profile Australians.

Applicants must be aged 18 years or over and be available for filming between 7 April and 6 June in Sydney. 

Participants will need to be available for approximately 4 hours per day for 3 to 4 days a week during 7 April – 6 June 2025. 

Assistance will be provided for travel to filming location.  For applicants who are selected to participate in the Program, there will be payment for the time worked during the filming period of the Program.
